Sales Information
Consider purchasing one of the 2013 Art on the River sculptures before they leave town in June of 2014. Near the end of the exhibit, artists are already making plans for where the sculpture will be the following year, so start thinking now about a purchase.

• Sculpture is a great addition to your business, makes a wonderful donation to your favorite nonprofit, or embellishes your own yard.

• Make a statement that you are a leader in promoting public art in Dubuque.

• Draw attention to your organization’s physical space and enhance the quality of life of your employees.

• This is a unique opportunity to purchase artwork that has been vetted through a highly competitive, juried process. You can be assured that these sculptures are of the highest artistic merit.

• Many of the works may be suitable for either indoor or outdoor display.

• City staff can assist in selecting a work suitable for your organization, communicating with the artist, and planning the siting of the work at your organization or home. If you are a nonprofit, staff can suggest some grant opportunities to fund your purchase.

• Your purchase helps to keep an artist working!

This is a competitive exhibit and all of the works have been vetted by a jury of experts. Only ten are selected each year, with 70-120 entries received each year.

Featured artists receive a $1,500 stipend for loaning their work for a year. All the pieces are for sale, but must stay in the exhibit through June 2014. Sales price does not include delivery and installation of the sculpture to the buyer’s site.

All of the pieces are for sale and will be on display until June 2014. Information on materials used in the sculpture, dimensions, weight, and sales prices is present on each individual page. For sales information, contact the Arts and Cultural Affairs Coordinator by email
