    This is the regular meeting of the Housing Commission. The Dubuque Housing Commission consists of 10 members appointed by the City Council to three-year terms. One member shall be appointed by the Housing Commission to serve as a representative to the Community Development Advisory Commission. Meetings are held: 4:00 p.m. on the Fourth Tuesday of each month at the Housing & Community Development Department Office. The purpose of this commission is to undertake and carry out studies and analysis of housing needs and the meeting of such needs; to recommend proposed projects in the area of low- and moderate-income housing for the citizens of the City; to monitor the City's housing programs; and to conduct grievances regarding the Rental Assistance Program, except in the area of Housing Code enforcement.

  1. Neighborhood Recreation Open Gym Program

    The Leisure Services Department announces FREE open gymnasium programs at Audubon Elementary School (605 Lincoln Avenue) and Prescott Elementary School (1151 White Street) on Saturday afternoons/evenings through March 4th. Open Gym Play is available for grades 3-5 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Audubon School. Open Gym Play is available for grades 6-8 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Audubon School and 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Prescott School. Open Gym Play is available for high school through adults from 7:45 to 9:00 pm at Prescott School.
