Winter Collection Schedule for Yard Debris and Food Scraps Begins Nov. 30

The City of Dubuque’s weekly collection of yard debris and food scraps on customers’ normal collection day will end on Saturday, Nov. 25. Beginning next Thursday, Nov. 30, the City will start its winter yard waste and food scraps collection schedule.

City Offices Closed Thursday and Friday

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, for the Thanksgiving holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices and facilities throughout the city of Dubuque.

'Holiday Tags' Available for Solid Waste Collection Customers

The City of Dubuque is continuing its annual distribution of a complimentary “holiday tag” for extra garbage to its solid waste collection customers. The tags will be available until Jan. 3, 2018.

City Property Certified 'Development-Ready'

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) announced that a “development-ready” site near Dubuque’s Industrial Center West is the latest industrial site to achieve certification through the Iowa Certified Sites Program.

City Seeking Community Input on Future Recreational Space Along the Reconstructed Bee Branch Creek
