Smarter Discard Study Starts Next Week

The City of Dubuque will launch the first phase of its Smarter Discards Pilot Study next week and begin collecting anonymous data on its curbside collection of trash and recycling.

The Flora Park and Nicholas J. Sutton Swimming Pools will be open for public swimming beginning on Saturday, May 25th (weather permitting). Memorial Day weekend pool hours are from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. See below for our 2013 pool operating hours.

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, for the Memorial Day holiday. This includes City Hall and other City department offices.

City Hall Tuck Pointing Project Under Way

The tuck pointing project at Dubuque’s City Hall began on April 29 and is expected to be completed by the end of September. The work will impact the three public entrances to the building but not simultaneously.

The Jule is again offering FREE bus transportation to students (K-12) to any regular stop on the bus route including any Leisure Services Department, Recreation Division and Carnegie-Stout Public Library activities.
