f you do nothing during your visit but browse through the City of Dubuque website, read pages, or download information or blank forms, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically. Unless a particular web page on the City of Dubuque's website indicates that encryption technology is being used, the user should not assume that information uploaded through that web page to the City of Dubuque's web server will be treated as confidential.
Iowa Open Records Statute
Chapter 22 of the Iowa Code establishes general policies for access to government records in Iowa, including information contained in public records of state and local governments. Other sections of the Iowa Code, as well as certain federal statutes, also deal with confidentiality issues.
Iowa Fair Information Practices Act
