The Dubuque Police Department Headquarters is located in the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center at 770 Iowa Street. This building is also home to the Dubuque Communications Center, as well as the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, and the Dubuque County Jail. We currently have 108 sworn officers and nine civilian employees.

Currently the Dubuque Police Department is organized into the following Divisions:

Within those divisions, we have special initiatives which include K-9 Unit, School Resource Officers, Tactical Team, and Crime Prevention. We have partnered with several neighborhood organizations and continue to strengthen our relationships with the community.
