The purpose of the research and facts subcommittee is:
  • To identify facts regarding crime, victims, areas of the city, renter/owners, resident/non-resident, employed/unemployed, percentage of alcohol/substance abuse involved or not, outcomes
  • To identify existing programs
  • To research other community solutions/failures
  • To discover who owns dilapidated properties - owner-occupied or not
  • To analyze the historical perspective - 2-year, 10-year, present day
