Gaining Opportunities (GO)

The Gaining Opportunities (GO) Program helps individuals address the lack of resources which contribute to living in poverty. Through community support, strategic partners, and one-on-one coaching, GO participants can work on six key community-building tracks to improve their situation.

If you are ready to learn about resources that help you out of poverty, please call the Housing & Community Development Department at 563-589-4230 and ask for Dawn, Hollie or Ryan. We are available Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

You’re Invited 

Every 3rd Tuesday of the month, we’d like for you to join us for a community meal and educational & supportive sessions. Meal are served at 5:45 p.m. at Prescott Elementary at 1151 White Street, Dubuque. We ask that those interested in attending RSVP by calling 563-589-4230, asking for Dawn or Ryan.
