Biking to work can be part of a healthier lifestyle, decrease traffic congestion, lessen parking constraints, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Join the movement and register to bike 1, 3, or all 5 days of Bike to Work Week.

Benefits of Participating

1) Burn some calories! Did you know you burn 8-10 calories per minute of moderate bike riding? Not to mention you get to enjoy some fresh air and the beauty of Dubuque.

2) Win prizes from community sponsors.

3) As a City employee, you are allowed to dress casual on the days you ride your bike.

4) Ride the bus for FREE! If Dubuque's rolling hills are too much to handle, take a free ride on The Jule if you have your bike along. Click here for details on The Jule's Rack & Ride program.

5) Save on gas and paying for parking.

6) Riding a bike is a great way to reduce stress, both physical and mental.
