Become a Grant Review Panelist

Dubuque has become known for its diverse and bountiful arts and cultural offerings. Since 2005, the City and its many partners have invested time and significant resources in making our community more socially and culturally vibrant by increasing access to participate in and enjoy arts and cultural experiences. In addition to municipal and organizational leadership, Dubuque has an engaged citizenry to thank for the strong arts and cultural community that exists here today.

Our Arts and Cultural Master Plan, adopted in 2016, relies on the community to continually engage in strengthen and sustaining the vitality of Dubuque's arts and culture sector. The plan also points to ways the Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs in tandem with the efforts of the Arts and Cultural Affairs Advisory Committee can increase its compliance with industry best practices. One of these best practices is to engage volunteer panelists in reviewing and scoring Arts and Culture grant applications.
