Golf Lessons

The purpose of a golf lesson is to provide quality instruction for men, women, and juniors of all skill levels in an enthusiastic, stress-free environment. In return it will allow you, the student, to see improvement and love for the game of golf.

Private lessons are taught by our PGA Golf Professional Mike Sullivan. Mike’s instructional message will be to increase the enjoyment of the game through a philosophical and practical instructional program. Mike has programs offered to meet your needs, including golf instruction, course management, rules, etiquette, and arranged golf outings.

Instructional lessons may include the use of video equipment and teaching aids to help provide you as much feedback as possible to accelerate the learning process. Following the lesson, a student receives an analysis with an assessment of what they need to work on. For more information or to schedule a lesson, call 563.589.4261.

A message from
Mike Sullivan, PGA Golf Professional

Dear friends and golfers,

My name is Mike Sullivan and I am the Head Golf Professional at Bunker Hill Golf Course. I have been a PGA Golf Professional for 36 years. I take great pride in improving the games of all my students—from beginners and juniors to high handicappers, weekend, and competitive golfers.

My mission is to increase the enjoyment of the game through a practical instructional program. Lessons are guided by the use of video technology and other teaching aids that provide instant and valuable feedback. All of it is aimed at speeding up the learning process while developing a plan for future improvement. Many common swing faults can be readily identified and fixed. Proper swing fundamentals are the key.

Please don't be hesitant to ask for help. Golf is too great of a game to be seen as frustrating and too difficult. Yes, it can be demanding but there are many ways to get better. I look forward to helping you improve your game!
