Supervised Study Hall

Jan. 10 - Feb. 4, 1-3 p.m.
For students in grades 1-5 on the A/B school schedule

A physically-distanced learning environment in which a caring adult supervises students as they complete their remote learning activities. Each study hall features several “creativity breaks” throughout the session to keep students engaged and motivated. The program is located at the Comiskey Building located at 255 E. 24th St.

A Day Students: Tuesdays and Thursdays
B-Day Students: Mondays and Wednesdays
No Supervised Study Hall on Fridays

Why Choose Us?

  • Parents can drop off and pick up at any point during the scheduled start/stop times, based on what’s convenient for your schedule. Students should bring their school assignments, other work to do during the session, and a water bottle.
  • Students will be spaced at least 6’ apart from each other, including during break activities. Students who arrive together (siblings) are permitted to be seated closer than 6’ apart.
  • All table-tops, chairs, and creativity break materials (each student will have their own) will be sanitized before each study hall session begins. All staff and participants are required to wear face coverings.
  • Review health and safety considerations including daily sanitation, physical distancing, and face coverings.

This program is $50 or free for those that income-qualify. See the income guidelines for more information. Registration is required. To register, call 563.589.4263. (Online registration is not currently available for this program.)
