About the Annual Action Plan

The Annual Action Plan lists all federal CDBG resources available during the fiscal year, and all activities expected to be undertaken to address the community needs and barriers. It includes the annual CDBG budget recommended by the Commission and adopted by the City Council for the fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of the following year. Fiscal Year 2024 Annual Action

The Annual Action Plan for FY24 CDBG funding was approved by the Community Development Advisory Commission on Jan. 18, 2023.

Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Action Plan Amendment 2

The proposed Annual Action Plan for FY23 Amendment 2 CBDG funding will have a Public Hearing on Monday, June 5, 2023 at a meeting to commence at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Historic Federal Building, 350 W. 6th Street, Dubuque.

Areas of Program Development

The City of Dubuque distinguishes between four different but complementary areas of program development in its overall Annual CDBG program:

  • Housing Development
  • Economic Development
  • Neighborhood and Community Development
  • Planning and Administration
