AmeriCorps Partners in Learning

The AmeriCorps Partners in Learning Program leverages Dubuque Community members to build capacity with local non-profits, government departments and school districts to solve some of Dubuque’s most pressing needs.

The Program’s current priorities are Every Child | Reads and building capacity around teen programming.

AmeriCorps is a national service program that engages Americans of all ages and backgrounds to meet a critical need in the community. AmeriCorps Partners in Learning has been in the Dubuque community since 2000 and has over 700 alumni.

During the summer, AmeriCorps members serve with five different partner organizations to provide academic, social and academic enrichment programs.  Our partner organizations are St. Mark Youth Enrichment, Multicultural Family Center, Leisure Services Recreation, Dubuque Dream Center, and the Carnegie-Stout Public Library.
