88 More Cases in Iowa, 5 More in Dubuque County
The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of 88 additional positive cases of Iowans with COVID-19, for a total of 424 positive cases. Five additional positive cases were reported for Dubuque County which now has a total of 21 positive cases. There has been a total of 6,162 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs. According to IDPH, two Iowans with COVID-19 passed away last night: one elderly adult (81+) of Linn County and one elderly adult (81+) of Washington County. Local Healthcare Providers Give Update on Preparations
Dubuque Mayor Roy D. Buol and Dubuque County Board of Supervisors Chairman Dave Baker hosted a media conference at 4 p.m. this afternoon featuring the leaders of the Dubuque area’s four major healthcare providers: Grand River Medical Group, Medical Associates Clinic & Health Plans, MercyOne Dubuque, and UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital.
