May 12: 539 New Cases and 18 Deaths in Iowa, 6 More Cases in Dubuque County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 539 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, including six additional cases in Dubuque County. Iowa now has a total of 12,912 positive cases and Dubuque County has 197.

18 additional deaths were reported today for Iowa, bringing the state total to 289.

As of May 10, 16 Dubuque County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 and 69 have recovered or are recovering. Statewide, 394 Iowans are hospitalized and 5,618 Iowans have recovered.

Statewide, 81,288 Iowans have been tested for a 15.9% positive testing rate.
