May 15: 374 New Cases and 18 Deaths in Iowa, 11 More Cases in Dubuque County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 374 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, including 11 additional cases in Dubuque County.

Iowa now has a total of 14,049 positive cases and Dubuque County has 249.

18 additional deaths were reported today for Iowa, bringing the state total to 336. There were no additional deaths reported for Dubuque County today so the county total remains 10.

As of May 14, 14 Dubuque County residents were hospitalized due to COVID-19 and 95 have recovered or are recovering. Statewide, 387 Iowans are hospitalized and 6,561 Iowans have recovered.

3,436 Dubuque County residents have been tested, resulting in a 7.2 percent positive rate. Statewide, 93,556 Iowans have been tested for a 15 percent positive rate.
