Bee Branch Creek Railroad Culvert Project Kick-Off

The City of Dubuque will hold a project kick-off on Thursday, August 8, to celebrate the initiation of construction of the Bee Branch Creek Railroad Culvert phase of the Bee Branch Watershed Project. The public is invited to attend. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. in the Lower Bee Branch corridor at the end of the paved trail north of E. 16th St. The best way to access the event is to drive to the end of Kerper Ct. where there will be a marked entrance to the site. Parking will be available. The program will include remarks by City staff, project funding partners, and elected officials. The America’s River III legacy donors, who provided the local match for a $2.25 million River Enhancement Community Attraction and Tourism grant for the Bee Branch Project in 2011, will be recognized. These organizations include American Trust & Savings Bank, Dubuque County, Dubuque Bank and Trust, Dubuque Racing Association, Dupaco Community Credit Union, Premier Bank, and U.S. Bank.
