Dubuque's Jule Transit Requiring Passengers to Wear Face Coverings

To limit the spread of COVID-19 and to increase passenger safety, the City of Dubuque’s Jule public transportation system will require all passengers to wear a face covering.

Effective 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, every passenger over the age of two years old must properly wear a face covering when entering and while inside a Jule bus or paratransit vehicle.

The City of Dubuque Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs has announced that the 2020-21 Art on the River public art exhibit has been canceled due to City budget constraints related to COVID-19 revenue impacts.

City of Dubuque's Finance Department Hours of Operation to Change

The City of Dubuque Finance Department has announced new hours of operation. Effective August 3, 2020, finance staff, including utility billing staff, will be available:

Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The change comes in an effort for staff to be more available to assist utility customers, especially those who need service before 8 a.m. These new hours do not impact other City departments or facility operations.

The westbound lane of North Cascade Road will be closed between Royal Wood and Cottingham starting at 7 AM on Thursday July 30th until 5 PM Friday August 7th for a water main extension project.
