March 26, 2020 -- For Immediate Release


DUBUQUE, Iowa – On March 26, 2020 at 7:35 AM Dubuque Police & Fire Departments responded to the intersection of Loras Blvd. and Cornell St. for the report of a pedestrian struck by a City of Dubuque owned Jule bus.

 The investigation revealed the pedestrian, a 42-year-old male, intentionally jumped in front of the Jule bus that was traveling eastbound on Loras Blvd.  The pedestrian was transported to Mercy Hospital where is he receiving treatment for minor injuries.

The bus driver was not injured. There were no passengers on the bus.
  
No charges have been filed.
