Dubuque Countywide Response to Coronavirus(COVID-19)

2 More Cases in Dubuque County, 56 More Cases and 2 More Deaths in Iowa 
The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of 56 additional positive cases of Iowans with COVID-19, including two in Dubuque County, for a total of 235 positive cases in Iowa. There have been 8 positive cases confirmed in Dubuque County.

There has been a total of 3,740 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs. According to IDPH, two Iowans with COVID-19 passed away last night, one elderly adult (81+ years) from Poweshiek County and one older adult (61-80 years) from Allamakee County. This brings the total COVID-19 deaths in Iowa to three. The Iowa Governor’s Office recently launched a new website with additional details on COVID-19 in Iowa including the current status of cases in Iowa, hospitalization and recovery data, maps, FAQs, and resources about the coronavirus response in Iowa. CNA Assistance
Certified nursing assistants (CNA) interested in assisting acute or long-term care facilities that may become overwhelmed during the COVID-19 response due to loss of staff because of illness, are asked to register on i-SERVE. Expanded Hours for Dubuque VNA Call Center
The Dubuque Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) is expanding the hours of its call center.  In addition to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, staff will answer calls/messages on Saturdays and Sundays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.  To access this service, please call 563.556.6200.
