96 New Cases in Iowa, Two More in Dubuque County
The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of 96 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa for a state total of 1,995 positive cases. Two additional cases were reported in Dubuque County, two middle-age adults (41-60 years), bringing the county total to 37.
There were additional 407 negative tests for a total of 17,874 negative tests in Iowa to date. According to IDPH, 171 people are currently hospitalized for COVID-19, and 908 Iowans have recovered. Four additional deaths were reported today in the following counties:
- Allamakee County, one older adult (61-80 years)
- Clayton County, one elderly adult (81+)
- Johnson County, one older adult (61-80 years)
- Polk County, one elderly adult (81+)
New Dashboard with County-Level Data The State of Iowa has released an updated dashboard on
coronavirus.iowa.gov that will be updated daily to include comprehensive tracking of COVID-19 in Iowa. The new dashboard includes cases, deaths, and tests conducted in each county as well as regional medical coordination centers, long-term care (LTC) outbreaks, the state’s epidemiological curve, and other demographic information that was not previously provided.
