570 New Cases in Iowa Since Friday, Four More in Dubuque County The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 570 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa since Friday, including four more in Dubuque County, one adult, two middle-age adults, and one elderly adult. Eleven more people with COVID-19 in Iowa have died since Friday, bringing the statewide total to 75. Iowa now has a total of 2,902 positive cases and Dubuque County has 44. Of the 389 additional positive cases announced today (Sunday), 261 (67 percent) can be attributed to surveillance testing of meat processing facilities, including 500 tests of Tyson employees (84 positive tests) and over 500 tests of National Beef employees (177 positive tests). Since Friday, there have been an additional 2,188 negative tests for a total of 21,648 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs. According to the IDPH, there have been 24,550 people tested in Iowa and 1,171 people who tested positive have recovered from the virus. For additional details, visit https://coronavirus.iowa.gov/
