Dubuque County Vaccinations Continue
Dubuque County residents eligible in Phase 1B Tier 1, including all residents age 65 and over, continue to be vaccinated as vaccine allocations allow. IDPH allocated 1,950 doses to Dubuque County again this week and the majority will be administered to PK-12 school staff and childcare professionals. Some local pharmacies may receive limited allocations directly from the federal government. IDPH continues to list vaccine provider information at https://coronavirus.iowa.gov/pages/vaccineinformation#VaccineProviders
Dubuque County residents age 65 and over currently eligible are being contacted by their healthcare provider as vaccine supplies permit. Remember, there are an estimated 21,000 county residents currently eligible and, based on current allocation levels, it will take several more weeks to vaccinate these residents before more residents can become eligible.
