City of Dubuque Health Department Seeking Dog Involved in Biting Incident

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The City of Dubuque Health Services Department is seeking information regarding a dog involved in a biting incident with a 14 year old male that occurred on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at about 7:00 p.m. in the area of the 2500 block of Washington Street. The dog was walking with owner. The owner is described as a middle aged white male with a beard and gray or white hair, wearing a lime green t-shirt. The dog is described as a full grown German Shepherd, black and tan in color.
The Health Department needs the public's assistance in finding this dog to verify the dog’s health status and vaccination history. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Health Services Department at 589-4185 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
