DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Dubuque Police Department is partnering with Target, Radio Dubuque, Dubuque Leisure Services, Carnegie-Stout Public Library, the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), area Neighborhood Associations, and other crime prevention and community advocates to bring National Night Out to our city for the 11th year.  National Night Out is an annual, nationwide, crime prevention event that promotes police-community partnerships, safety, and neighborhood unity.  This is the 38th anniversary of National Night Out.  Millions of people from more than 17,000 communities across the country will participate in the event.

Join us at Comiskey Park (24th/25th & Jackson/Washington St.) on Tuesday, August 3rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for this free event that includes food, games, the Bicycle Library, and a bounce house for the kids.  Police and Fire Department vehicles will be on display.

The VNA will be offering COVID vaccines to anyone 12 years of age or older. Both Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson will be available.

Help build a safer, stronger community by attending National Night Out.
