Dubuque Stops Solid Waste Collections for the Day

The City of Dubuque has pulled its solid waste collection vehicles from their routes for the day due to the weather conditions.

Residents on Thursday collection routes whose setouts have not been collected are asked to leave them out for collection tomorrow (Friday).

For best visibility and access to collection crews, place containers, bags, bins, and bundles at the corner of your driveway OR in a shoveled-out street-side windrow notch, but NOT on the sidewalk or behind a snow pile or windrow.

Please remove empty containers from windrows and sidewalks as soon as possible to aid walkers and snow plow crews.  Thank you for your assistance.
