'City Life', Dubuque's Course on Local Government, Welcoming Applicants

The City of Dubuque is welcoming applications from residents for the next session of City Life, Dubuque’s fun, free, and interactive experience of local government.
City Life participants have the opportunity to learn more about City operations and services that make Dubuque a great place to live, work, and play. Through presentations, behind-the-scenes tours, and conversations with neighbors, residents see taxpayer investments at work and are able to share their thoughts. Applications are due by Friday, March 24.
The City Life program consists of six in-person sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings this spring (April 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20) from 6-9 p.m. Dinner is provided and accommodations can be made. The program will be offered again in the fall for those interested but unable to attend.
“Whether you’ve lived here your whole life, or just moved here, there’s something you can learn to expand your knowledge and something you can share to expand the potential of Dubuque. I would highly recommend it,” said Nathalia Bernal, a recent program participant.
