Summer Pre-Registration for Income-Qualifying Families is Tomorrow

On Tuesday, April 25, income-qualified families can pre-register for summer programs from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the City of Dubuque Leisure Services Office, located at 1157 Central Ave. City staff will be available to help residents register for programs and apply for the Family Scholarship Program.

Family Scholarship Program

The Leisure Services Family Scholarship is a $125 household credit for income-qualified families (two or more related people from the same address). Scholarship credits can be used for program registration, pavilion rentals, and other services. 

The scholarship application is available online at www.cityofdubuque.org/recreation. Those without internet access may use the computers at the Leisure Services office to apply. Note, a limited number of scholarships are available each fiscal year. They are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Creative Adventure Lab Partnership

Households that qualify for a Family Scholarship automatically qualify for the Creative Adventure Lab scholarship program which includes a complimentary one-year Family Play Membership ($180 value). Learn more at www.creativeadventurelab.org/scholarships.
