Northwest Arterial Northbound Lanes Now Fully Open, Project Substantially Complete

The Northwest Arterial State of Good Repair Project is now substantially complete and the northbound lanes between Pennsylvania Ave. and Asbury Rd. are now fully open. Today, temporary traffic control equipment will be removed and speed limits will return to normal. 

Please note, one of the southbound lanes between Pennsylvania Ave. and Asbury Rd. will be closed today, Friday, Aug. 18, for gravel shoulder repairs. This is a one-day lane closure and the work is expected to be complete by the end of the day. 

Remaining work along the project corridor includes seeding and the installation of crossover barrier cables. This work will not impact traffic. Thank you for your patience throughout this major project to greatly improve the roadway.
