JAN. 11, 2024

Most City of Dubuque offices will be temporarily closed to walk-in traffic on Friday, Jan. 12, due to the winter storm.

This includes City Hall, the Municipal Services Center, Health Services Department, Leisure Services Department and Multicultural Family Center, and Housing and Community Development Department. While these facilities will be closed to the public, City employees will be accessible by phone or email throughout the day. Housing inspections will continue, unless a cancellation notification is received.

To assist with this request, the City will be offering free parking in unreserved spaces in select City-owned ramps into next week. Vehicles must be removed by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, or be subject to regular parking rates. City ramps open for free parking during this time are:

  • 5th Street Ramp, 501 Iowa St.
  • Five Flags Ramp, 100 W. 4th St.
  • Intermodal Ramp, 351 E. 9th St.
