Public Hearing to Adopt City of Dubuque’s Next Budget Rescheduled to Monday, April 15

The public hearing to adopt the City of Dubuque’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Budget has been rescheduled to Monday, April 15. The hearing will now be a part of that evening’s regularly scheduled city council meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of the Historic Federal Building, 350 W. Sixth St. The public hearing to adopt the FY2025 budget had previously been scheduled for Thursday, April 11. 

The hearing will be the public’s final opportunity to provide input on the recommended budget for FY2025, which runs from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. Input can be given in person at the meeting or virtually through the GoToMeeting platform. Instructions can be found within the meeting agenda at www.cityofdubuque.org/agendas. Input can also be submitted online through the budget public comments form at www.cityofdubuque.org/FY2025budget. The April 15 city council meeting, including the public hearing to adopt the FY2025 budget, will air live on CityChannel Dubuque (Mediacom cable channels 8 and 117.2 and ImOn channel 5).
