Applications for FY25 Arts and Culture Capacity Building Grant Program Due May 10

Applications for the City of Dubuque Arts and Culture Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Capacity Building Grant Program are due Friday, May 10. Established 501(c)(3) Dubuque-based nonprofit organizations with a primary mission to provide the general public with programs and activities in areas directly concerned with arts, arts education, or cultural heritage are eligible to apply.

The Arts and Culture Capacity Building Grant Program provides funding to support initiatives that aim to create a more sustainable and effective organization. Eligible organizations may apply for grants of up to $8,000 to support capacity-building initiatives. The organization must maintain a cash operating expense budget, exclusive of other City of Dubuque grant support, of no less than $10,000 per year. A total of $35,000 in funding is available.

Application Access and Deadline

• Applications must be submitted via Slideroom, the online application portal.
• Applications are?due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024.?

 The Capacity Building Grant Program is a new biennial program that alternates every other fiscal year with the Special Projects Grant Program.
