New Traffic Signal Activation at JFK Rd. & 32nd St. Intersection on Aug. 7

The new traffic signal at the intersection of John F. Kennedy (JFK) Rd. and 32nd St. will be activated in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 7. 

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to be cautious in this area as traffic adjusts to this new signal. Signal transitions will be radar controlled and responsive to traffic, not timed.

• Southbound traffic on JFK Rd. will have a green arrow signal (protected) for left turns on to 32nd St. The signals will also feature flashing yellow arrows, which require turning traffic to yield to oncoming traffic.
• Westbound traffic on 32nd St. will have dedicated lanes for both left and right turns on to JFK. The signal/intersection is also configured to accommodate through traffic, if needed in the future.
