City of Dubuque Offices to Close for Employee Recognition Event on Morning of May 8

City of Dubuque offices will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, so employees can attend a recognition and development event. Staff members in roles critical to public safety will work their normal schedules.

Jule buses will run on regularly scheduled routes, though the Intermodal Transportation Center, 950 Elm St., will be closed until 11:00 a.m.

Regular Thursday solid waste and recycling collections will continue, but may be slightly delayed.

The Parks and Recreation Department’s customer service desk at the Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave., will be staffed during the event.

The Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency’s facilities will remain open.

The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will open at noon.
