Washington Street Closure - between E. 7th and E. 9th

The 30-inch Sanitary Sewer Force Main Relocation (Phase III) Project on Washington Street between E. 7th and E. 9th is scheduled to begin on Monday 8/20.  Washington Street will be closed to accommodate this work.  The project is expected to last approximately three months.  Motorists will need to follow the posted detour routes during this closure. 

Crews will begin mobilization and material staging on Washington Street starting tomorrow, Thursday 8/16, and on-street parking will be restricted.  Washington Street will remain open to thru traffic during this mobilization and material staging.  Click here for a detailed map of this closure.  Map available for all current city detours at www.cityofdubuque.org/detours.  If you have questions regarding this closure/detour, please contact the City of Dubuque Engineering Department at 563-589-4270.
