Public Hearing to Adopt FY2020 Budget is Thursday, March 7
The Dubuque City Council will hold a final public hearing at which the FY2020 recommended budget will be discussed and adopted. The final public hearing begins at 6 p.m. and will be held in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of the Historic Federal Building at 350 W. Sixth St. This hearing follows a series of six public meetings held throughout February, at which City staff from each department and division presented budget information to the Dubuque City Council.
The recommended budgets for these departments/divisions are posted online at www.cityofdubuque.org/FY2020budget. Printed copies will be made available for viewing at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, and available for checkout from the Carnegie-Stout Public Library Reference Desk. All budget public meetings are aired live on Dubuque's CityChannel (Mediacom cable channels 8 and 117.2) and streamed live and archived online at www.cityofdubuque.org/media.
Dubuque’s Jule Transit offers evening transportation service to City Council meetings and budget presentations.
