Starting today, February 18th, and running until the end of July 2019, Key Services will be seeking donations on behalf of the Dubuque Police Protective Association (the bargaining unit for Dubuque Police Officers) in preparation for the 8th annual Shop With A Cop event at Target, 3500 Dodge St. Last year, the DPPA raised approximately $40,000 which allowed officers to take nearly 100 area kids shopping for back to school clothing and supplies! The DPPA also purchased 80 winter coats and 40 pairs of gloves for local children with money raised for this event.

The DPPA appreciates the generosity of Dubuque area citizens, businesses, and organizations who have donated to Shop with A Cop in the past. The DPPA would also like to thank Target for their continued support.
While cash donations are accepted and appreciated, those wishing to support this great cause are encouraged to donate in the form of a check made out to the Dubuque Police Protective Association. Solicitors from Key Services will provide instructions on how to donate.  Donations can also be dropped off at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center at 770 Iowa St.

Questions concerning this event can be directed to DPPA Board Member Nick Schlosser at nschloss@cityofdubuque.org or (563) 587-3813.
