City of Dubuque Health Department Seeking Cat Involved in Biting Incident

DUBUQUE, Iowa—The City of Dubuque Health Services Department is seeking information regarding a cat involved in a biting incident that occurred on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, approximately 1 PM at Adams Company, located at 8040 Chavenelle Rd. The cat was not accompanied by anyone and was running loose at the time of the incident. The cat is described as a two-toned gray, long-haired cat. It appeared to weigh about 4-5 pounds.
 
The Health Department needs the public's assistance in finding this cat to verify the cat’s health status and vaccination history. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Health Services Department at 589-4185 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
