Intersection Closure - Central and E. 22nd/Kaufmann
Local Traffic and U.S. HWY 52 Detour Maps

Due to the Bee Branch storm sewer improvement project, the intersection of Central Ave. and E. 22nd St. closed on April 30. The intersection will be closed for 8 weeks. During the closure, motorists are asked to follow the posted detour routes. Please note, access to area businesses will be maintained at all times during the closure.

Local Traffic Detours

Central Ave. Northbound: White St. to E. 24th St. 
Central Ave. Southbound: E. 25th St. to Jackson St. to E. 20th St.
E. 22nd St./Kaufmann Ave.: Jackson St. to W. 32nd St. to N. Grandview Ave.

U.S. HWY 52 Detour

All thru traffic traveling on U.S. HWY 52 (Central Ave.) must take the Northwest Arterial to U.S. HWY 20 to S. Locust St. onto U.S. HWY 151/61.
