Come see the colorful banners created by our community!
Over 150 community members, many of them kids, created artwork for banners that will cover the fence at the former junkyard at 16th and Elm. They drew self portraits, their favorite things, and their favorite places. Over 8 feet tall and 400 feet long, the banners are a colorful celebration of Dubuque!
Everyone is invited to come see the art, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and visit with their friends and neighbors. This is an open house event with a short program at 10:15 a.m. Stop by anytime between 10 and 11:30 a.m.
We Want Your Input!
The City of Dubuque plans to redevelop the property along the Lower Bee Branch into a recreational area. What types of programs would you like to see? What are your hopes for the space? Come see renderings and share your ideas! Learn more about the project at www.cityofdubuque.org/beebranchbrownfieldscleanup.
