Central Ave. Lane Closure - between 17th and 19th

Due to a water main replacement project, Central Ave. between E. 17th St. and E. 19th St. will be under construction starting Tuesday, May 28, for approximately 3 weeks. During the project, Central Ave. will be reduced to one lane of traffic.
 
At the start of the project, the east lane of Central Ave. will be closed, and vehicles will travel in the west lane. Mid-project, the closure will switch lanes and the west lane will be closed and vehicles will use the east lane. Parking lanes will be closed to accommodate the shift in traffic.
 
Please note, access to businesses will be maintained at all times during construction.  A map of all current road closures and detours is available at www.cityofdubuque.org/detours.
