City of Dubuque Purchase of Service Grants Available

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The City of Dubuque is accepting applications for its annual Purchase of Service Grant Program to support local human service programs. Online applications are being accepted at www.cityofdubuque.org/POSG. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, July 12.
The purchase of service grant program provides support for human service programs in the city of Dubuque which further the City’s goals, objectives, and priorities. Not for-profit and faith-based organizations located in the city of Dubuque providing year-round human services programs are eligible to apply.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of two application workshops to develop competitive applications. Workshop dates are Monday, June 24, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 27, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
Workshop registration, grant guidelines, and grant applications can be obtained on the City of Dubuque website at www.cityofdubuque.org/POSG. Completed applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019.
The funding for this grant program is determined by the City Council during the annual budget process. The City’s adopted Fiscal Year 2019-20 combined budget allocates $100,000 in general funds and $20,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the program.
