  1. Budget Public Input Meeting

    November 13, 2019, 6:00 PM @ City Council Chambers

    Dubuque residents and stakeholders are invited to share their input on the next City budget as City of Dubuque staff prepare the City’s budget for fiscal year (FY) 2021, which runs July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021. The public is invited to attend a public input meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the City Council Chambers at the Historic Federal Building, 350 W. Sixth St. City staff will provide general information on the budget process at this meeting and then meeting attendees will be asked to share their thoughts on what they would like to see funded in their neighborhoods and the community at-large. Those unable to attend the meeting are invited to provide input on the budget by submitting comments in the “Balancing Act” simulation tool available at www.cityofdubuque.org/budget.

  1. Adaptive Sports Open Gym Program - Wheelchair Basketball

    November 13, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

    Learn about all of the possibilities of Adaptive Sports in a fun, non-competitive, yet challenging environment. Each month, we will offer numerous adaptive sports opportunities and feature one sport where participants will be taught the fundamentals of the sport. (Featured Sport - Wheelchair Basketball) Target population is children and adults who have a physical disability and who want to learn how to play adaptive sports.   2. Community Movie Nights at the Five Flags Theater - "The Goonies"

    The Leisure Services Department is hosting a "Community Movie Night" at the Five Flags Theater, located at 405 Main Street, on Wednesday, November 13th. Admission is FREE. Come enjoy a nice relaxing evening while watching "The Goonies". (movie rated PG)
