The Leisure Services Department is pleased to announce that Adult Swim/Waterwalking and Open Swimming will be held at the Hempstead High School swimming pool on Sunday afternoons through Sunday, February 17th.

The Leisure Services Department announces FREE open gymnasium programs at Prescott Elementary School (1151 White Street) through Sunday, March 3rd.

Special Population programs provide sports/recreation/leisure/outreach services to people with physical/mental/emotional disabilities. Our goal is for participants to engage in activities that promote socialization, skill development & physical activity. Let the professional staff at Sundown Mountain show you all that the slopes have to offer! You can try on equipment and learn some basics that will help make your first day on the snow more successful. If you're feeling slope-ready, you will even be able to try the magic carpet for ONE RUN!
