Taj Suleyman holds a MA in Intercultural Relations from the University of the Pacific in Portland, Oregon.  Taj is an associate facilitator in personal leadership methodology, focusing on intercultural and social justice theoretical frameworks which are used to better understand intercultural negotiation processes.  His work with local government agencies supported facilitators in improving training models to meet the needs of various communities and the relationship building among different stakeholders.  Throughout his 12 year career working in diverse roles with non-profit organizations, he has assisted and empowered the integration of individuals who experience disabilities, refugees, and immigrants into the U.S. society.  As a volunteer, Taj serves on the national disasters response team with the American Red Cross since 2002.
