|The Port of Dubuque Marina facility is officially open for boaters. It is located at mile 579.4 on the Upper Mississippi River, along the northerly shoreline of the Ice Harbor in the Port of Dubuque at 450 E. 3rd St., adjacent to the new National River Center and the National Mississippi River Museum’s outdoor Mississippi Plaza.
The new marina facility includes:a total of 70 transient slips, consisting of forty-six 30-foot slips, twenty 40-foot slips, and four 50-foot slips The facility includes water and electrical connections, a fuel dock, and sanitary pump-out facilities. It also has two shore entry/exit locations and each with an 80-foot, ADA-compliant access gangway.
A universally accessible landside amenities building provides services and accommodations such as: marina management facilities; dockside shower suites; restrooms; a laundry facility; and a marina ship store. The ship store provides services to boaters such as marine related supplies and accessories, convenience store goods, informational kiosk and tourism destination information. The marina project is funded in partnership through a Federal Boating Infrastructure Grant through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Sport Fish Recreation and Boating Trust Fund. The Boating Infrastructure Grant program is administered in Iowa by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Due to the location of the Marina, there is Restricted Visibility when entering or exiting through the flood gates. Please adhere to the following Restricted Visibility Sound Signals when communicating with other vessels:
One prolonged blast at intervals of not more than two minutes is the signal used by power-driven vessels when underway.
One prolonged blast plus two short blasts at intervals of not more than two minutes is the signal used by sailing vessels.
