The Port of Dubuque Marina

The Port of Dubuque Marina is now closed for the season.

The Port of Dubuque Marina is a 70-slip transient marina in downtown Dubuque, Iowa, located at mile 579.4 of the upper Mississippi River inside the protected Ice Harbor. Guests can spend a day, night, or a few hours enjoying the many downtown and Port of Dubuque attractions.

Seasonal Slips

Seasonal slips are available for $1,960 for the full season. Seasonal slip rentals include full electric and water hookups, access to private and secure shower suites, and a personal keycard for dock entry. For questions or to reserve a seasonal slip, call 563-582-5524. Learn more!

Hourly & Overnight Reservations

Docks are available by the hour or overnight, reservations are accepted for up to 14 consecutive days. Reservation includes water and 30 or 50 amp electrical connection for boats up to 100'. Reserve online or call 563-582-5524. Learn more!

Full Service

A full-service fuel dock with gas and diesel fuels and sanitary pump-out is located within the marina for easy access. The Port of Dubuque Marina docks and shower suite have secure access for boaters.

Convenience Store

The Port of Dubuque Marina convenience store carries a selection of boating essentials such as supplies, water, ice cream, beer, and ice. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to provide you with area tourism information to complete your stay.

Restricted Visibility

Due to the location of the Marina, there is Restricted Visibility when entering or exiting through the floodgates. Please adhere to the following restricted visibility sound signals when communicating with other vessels:

  • One prolonged blast at intervals of not more than two minutes is the signal used by power-driven vessels when underway.
  • One prolonged blast plus two short blasts at intervals of not more than two minutes is the signal used by sailing vessels.

Local Attractions

The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, the Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark, the Diamond Jo Casino and Stone Cliff Winery are a few of the many attractions you will find along the scenic Mississippi Riverwalk, which starts at the Marina's door and leads you through Dubuque's Art on the River exhibit on your way to the historic Star Brewery and Shot Tower.
