The Leisure Services Department provides an after-school sports program to fourth and fifth grade students conducted at a number of Dubuque public elementary schools.
AFTER-SCHOOL BASKETBALL is offered in the winter of 2014, beginning the week of January 27th (with the exception of Kennedy School starting on January 21st). REGISTRATION IS NOW COMPLETE (deadline was Friday, January 10th) AND PRACTICE SCHEDULES WILL BE MAILED OUT TO STUDENTS' HOMES WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.
AFTER-SCHOOL TRACK will be offered in the spring of 2014. Registration forms will be sent to the Dubuque Community School District for distribution in mid-March. Students in grades 4 and 5 will receive the registration form from their teacher on Monday, March 10th.
AFTER-SCHOOL FLAG FOOTBALL is complete for the 2013 season. The 2014 registration forms will be available late August for students in grades 4 and 5.
