The Dubuque Police Department is joining forces with Target, the Dubuque Multicultural Family Center, Dubuque Leisure Services and our area Neighborhood Associations to bring National Night Out (NNO) to our community for the 3rd consecutive year.

The Dubuque Police Department is joining forces with Target, the Dubuque Multicultural Family Center, Dubuque Leisure Services and our area Neighborhood Associations to bring National Night Out (NNO) to our community for the 3rd consecutive year. NNO is an annual, nationwide, crime prevention event held each year to promote police-community partnership, safety and neighborhood unity. NNO has been in existence for 29 years with an estimated 37 million people in over 15,000 communities nationwide participating each year.

Join us at Comiskey Park (24th / 25th & Jackson / Washington St.) on Tuesday, August 7th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for this entirely free event that includes food, snow cones, beverages, games, a bounce-house/slide and gifts for the kids. Police and Fire Department vehicles will also be on display. At dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.), the Multicultural Family Center will show the movie “Rango” outside at the community building.

Help build a safer, stronger community by attending National Night Out. For more information, call Lt. Scott Baxter at the number listed above or via email: sbaxter@cityofdubuque.org.
