[ARCHIVED] Fall Ballroom Dance Classes

The Leisure Services Department is sponsoring Fall Ballroom Dance Classes starting TONIGHT (Wednesday, October 3rd) at the Comiskey Center located at 255 East 24th Street, Dubuque. See below for more information.

Whether you’re young or a young-at-heart adult age 16 and older, now is the perfect time to expand your knowledge and learn the timeless art of ballroom dancing such as the Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba and Tango. You’ll learn the most popular dance steps to some of your favorite songs from the 1940’s to present day hits.

Ballroom Dance classes are held every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 pm (beginning level I) and 7:30-8:30 pm (beginning level II/intermediate) through November 7th. Registration fee is $45 per person or $90 per couple; a dance partner is suggested. Instructors are Dennis and Sandy Scheckel from Scheckel & Co Dance Instruction.
