Special Population activities are offered, but not limited to mentally and physically disabled individuals. Registration is required one week prior to a program's starting date. See below for upcoming winter/spring events.
On January 14th through 16th - WINTER SPECIAL OLYMPICS. Events will be held at the Mystique Community Ice Center and Sundown Mountain. On Monday, January 28th from 6-7:30 p.m. - LEGO BUILDING - CREATIVITY CENTER located at Matter Creative Center, 140 East 9th Street. The LEGO Building Lab gives LEGO lovers of all ages the opportunity to build to their hearts content. Fee is $10.
On Thursday, February 7th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. - VALENTINE DANCE in the Roosevelt Middle School cafeteria. Fee is $5, payable at the door.
On Wednesday, February 13th from 6-8 p.m. - COOKING CLASS at HyVee Foods on South Locust Street. Fee is $10.
On Saturday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. - TOUR THE NATIONAL MISSISSIPPI RIVER MUSEUM in the Port of Dubuque. Fee is $5.
On Saturdays (March 2nd-30th) from 12:30-2 p.m. - BOWLING at Creslanes Bowling, 255 South Main Street. Fee is $30.
On Wednesday, March 20th from 6-8 p.m. - COOKING CLASS at HyVee Foods on South Locust Street. Fee is $10.
On Thursday, March 21st from 6:30-8:30 p.m. - SPRING DANCE in the Roosevelt Middle School cafeteria. Fee is $5, payable at the door.
On Tuesdays (April 9th-May 14th) from 6-8 p.m. - T-BALL at Valentine Park, 860 Valentine Drive. Fee is $10.
On Wednesday, April 17th from 6-8 p.m. - COOKING CLASS at HyVee Foods on South Locust Street. Fee is $10.
